‘Healthy Mind in Healthy Body’ is not merely an adage but an absolute reality. In keeping one healthy, sports play a vital role. The physical exertion through sports develops concentration, competitive spirit as well as sportive sense in all spheres of life. One who is good at sports will also be good at studies and also life pursuit. It promotes a joyful mind above all and improves achievement motivation.
Physical education forms an integral part of the formal education. Our College is giving top priority to provide a canvass of infrastructural facilities to sports and games designed specifically for the girl students. For the promotion of Sports and Games the institution laid courts, an indoor stadium (Sri Chitturi Subbarao Satya Usharani Indoor Stadium-2012), with international standards at a cost of Rs. 1.5 crores, with world class Shuttle, Badminton Courts, Serene Yoga Training Centre and a fully equipped Multi-Gymnasium and 50 Bedded Sports Hostel, 200 Meters 06 lane Track, a Badminton Academy in collaboration with Padmabhushan Pullela Gopichand for summer coaching in the game, regular time tabled Yoga practice to the students, special incentives to the students with special athletic talents and achievements etc., are provided by our college members and other sponsorers in and around Tanuku Town. Our efforts are fruitful in this regard with our student achievements in sports and games at the District, State, National levels. The institution feels proud to say that the college students bagged overall championship 11 times in inter collegiate university level Games and Athletic meets and cross country meets.
The philosophy behind promoting sports and games for girl students is to keep the posterity and the future society healthy.

The following is the list of players selected to represent Andhra University / Adikavi Nannaya University in various disciplines at All India Inter-University Tournaments between from 1995 to 2017.
Kum.Ch.V.H.V.S.N.L. Renuka student of B.A., represented India for the Squat and Bench and Dead Lift 48 Kgs., category held at Uzbekistan and won 3 Gold Medals. She was awarded the 4th Gold for lifting 310 Kgs.
Ch.V.H.V.S.N.L. Renukawas given the title “Strongest Woman” in the year 2003 January 27th of the Federation Cup Power Lift Championship at Kolkatta.
All India Inter Universities:
Ch.V.H.V.S.N.L. Renuka, won four gold medals for Power Lifting at Punjab University in 2003 & three gold medals for Power lifting at L.N.C.P, Gwalior in 2004
